1. Technical migration + site structure
Includes full migration to 7.1: adaptation of incompatible pages and blocks, reconfiguration of collections (blog, events, shop, portfolio), menu sorting, review of internal hierarchy, debugging of duplicate or orphaned pages, and faithful maintenance of the original design.
2. Performance optimisation + user experience
Speed, mobile loading and overall performance are optimised. Current images and styles inherited from 7 are adjusted, compatibility with the 7.1 editor is ensured, and obsolete links or elements that affect navigation are reviewed, all without modifying the aesthetics of the site.
3. Integrations, basic SEO + final configuration
Integrations (Analytics, Search Console, Pixel, forms, newsletter) are reinstalled and checked, broken links are corrected, URLs and slugs are sorted, 301 redirects are created when necessary, metadata, favicon and global settings are reviewed. Includes final functional testing and publication of the site in 7.1.

1. Removal of old, obsolete or ineffective code
I remove styles, tags, and fragments that no longer serve a purpose, overload the website or cause visual conflicts.
2. Debugging of duplicate or repetitive code
I unify identical styles, eliminate repetitions (e.g. rules copied several times under different IDs) and reorganise the CSS to make it clean and easy to maintain.
3. Correction of poorly structured IDs and classes
I reorder identifiers and classes that are misapplied, repeated or purposeless, avoiding conflicts and improving overall performance.
4. Removal of unnecessary comments or unused lines
I clean up old code, test comments, ineffective snippets, and remnants of old customizations. Where the designer or user manually adds to customise the website beyond what the platform offers.
5. General performance optimisation
I ensure that the CSS loads efficiently and that your site is not overloaded with code, following the best practises that Squarespace promotes today.

About add-on prices:
Prices do not include VAT (15%).
If you renew or redesign your website with us, VAT is applied to the total value of the project upon completion.
If you only add add-ons, VAT is charged separately for each add-on.
About Squarespace website code cleaning:
If the website has undergone significant changes, several web developers have worked on it; a preliminary review may be necessary to confirm whether it can be completed within 7 days or if additional hours are required. The cost of the review is ($200 USD + VAT).
If you proceed with the service, this amount will be deducted from the final investment. If you decide not to continue, it is non-refundable due to the time involved in analysing the structure and code of each page.
